Ingredients:

  • 2 gelatin sheets
  • 40 ml almond milk
  • 25 g sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 cm finely chopped ginger

 

Instructions:

  • Place the gelatin sheets to soften in cold water. 
  • Mince the ginger.
  • In a saucepan, pour in the almond milk, sugar, ginger and almond extract.
  • Heat until simmering (about 5 minutes).
  • Squeeze out the gelatin and add it to the preparation. 
  • Pour into a rectangular mould and place in a cool place for 3 hours. 
  • Unmould and cut into cubes.

Nutritional advice:

Almond milk (a vegetable drink made from almonds) is a good alternative for people who are lactose-intolerant or who want to limit their consumption of milk of animal origin.
However, almond milk often contains added sugars: pay attention to the label.
