  • 40 g butter
  • 20 g brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 very ripe banana
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 120 g flour
  • 1 sachet yeast
  • 1 pinch salt


  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter and sugar over low heat; remove from the cooke and add the egg.
  • Add the ripe banana, slightly mashed, and vanilla.
  • Add the dry ingredients without over-mixing.
  • Grease and flour a cake tin.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, checking the baking status with a knife.
