Malaysian satay chicken skewers

Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 lemongrass sticks
- 2 cloves garlic
- 4 small shallots
- 2 teaspoons turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon chilli powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 carrots
- 2 cucumbers
- 1 small red onion
Instructions:
- In a blender, place all ingredients except the chicken and blend into a fine marinade.
- Cut the chicken into strips.
- Place the chicken in the marinade and let it rest in the refrigerator for 6 - 12 hours.
- Thread the chicken onto the skewers.
- Grill them for 3 to 4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Serve with raw vegetables.
