Ingredients:

  • 100 ml water
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons wheat bran
  • 150 g wholemeal flour
  • 2 teaspoons dry yeast

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 190°C. 
  • Peel and finely chop the garlic and onion.
  • Wash, dry and chop the parsley.
  • Pour the flour and all the ingredients into a bowl and knead for 5 minutes.
  • Cover the bowl with a cloth and let the bread dough swell for 2 hours. 
  • Shape the dough into a bread shape and bake for 40 minutes.

Nutritional advice:

Use wholemeal flour to make these breads nutritionally better.
